At first glance I thought maybe this was one of the pieces. N explained that this was probably a place the farmers were cultivating Shiitake mushrooms. I decided to take a picture anyway.

- As of October 2009... I'm a born-again Christian, and came to Japan seven years ago to work for the church as a lay missionary. I'm deeply concerned about slavery in the world today. I'm a member of Project Ezra. I went to Thailand and India this summer to volunteer, and I'm still in the process of blogging about it. I enjoy playing French Horn in the Niigata Symphony Orchestra, an amateur group that rehearses weekly and performs three concerts a year. I love traveling and learning. Most of all, I love God and believe the Bible is perfect and true.
