Today I went to Tokamachi to see a very large art exhibit that was spread all over the city. This piece was set up in the mountains among farmers. The pond probably existed to begin with, but it looks like they did some re-shaping and possibly controlled drainage. Being outdoors, the weather adds much to the mood of the artwork. My friend N, from the orchestra, took me around. Of the hundreds of works, we saw about twenty.
